Statement on the war in Ukraine

We are deeply appalled by the war in Ukraine. The Russian attack threatens the lives and the well-being of the people of Ukraine, it violates the sovereignty of a European state and the democratic values – peace, independence and international understanding – that we share. The Russian government is breaking international law and treaties that it has concluded itself.
